ERP
Plastmade has recently implemented a new ERP System that it has developed over the last year. The new system will better track and benchmark: machine loading, raw materials inventory, internal scrap, finished product inventory, mold maintenance, shipping schedules & invoicing. The new ERP system will improve productivity, on time shipments, inventory turns, and allow for real time tracking of production orders through the manufacturing process. All these advantages translate into greater service levels for all our customers.

TWO COLOUR MOLDING CAPABILITY ADDED
Plastmade proudly announces that it has added two color molding equipment as of Sept. 26, 2008. We have added some new equipment to address our existing customer’s needs for two color molding. This is definitely a niche market that we intend to pursue in coming years.
The 90 ton hydraulic press has a platen size of 34.5” X 21.5”. Plastmade has already secured a multi year molding contract for parts and has immediate molding capacity for additional two material molding.
